Research Interests

My research focuses on learning designs and analytics for technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) activities. My main research interest is to model learners’ behavior in order to provide feedback and guidance, either in formal or informal contexts. I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras (Greece) where I also received my phD in July 2014. From August 2014 to March 2016, I held a postdoctoral position at the Collide Group in the University of Duisburg-Essen, working with Prof. Ulrich Hoppe. I moved to HCII in April 2016 and I currently work with Prof. Bruce McLaren on a project that aims to develop and use a student model to improve the dialogue of an existing physics intelligent tutoring system.
